World Health Organization (WHO) is a Specialized Agency of United Nations mandated as the international public health coordinator. With a mandate for “the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health,” WHO has developed more than 50 programs related to health education, humanitarian health assistance, and worldwide programs to eradicate disease. WHO focuses on promoting health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity where health could be distributed equally to every individual.

WHO is not merely focused to work in times of crisis, WHO also needs to maintain the health-related sustainability especially in the post-conflict and post-outbreak timeframe. This support is including health research agenda, providing technical support, and articulating policy options for health to help communities regain its health and sustainability. Therefore, WHO needs to work in multi-sectoral fields to achieve its goals. In achieving the goals, WHO works under the constitution by aiming the highest attainable standard of health and cooperating with many stakeholders.
