World Health Organization (WHO) is a Specialized Agency of United Nations mandated as the international public health coordinator. With a mandate for “the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health,” WHO has developed more than 50 programs related to health education, humanitarian health assistance, and worldwide programs to eradicate disease.
